Elastic Wheel

The latest X5 prototype shows a wheel that is suspended within a springy steel hoop by 3 rows of 12 negatively sprung membranes. The uniformly charged pull of the  membranes create a very powerful centering of the wheel within the hoop. The pull of gravity sinks or lowers the wheel within the hoop until vehicles weight is fully sprung. Upon drive train influence tension grows at the top of the hoop, generating additional de-weighting or lift effect assisting foreword travel.
